Kristin McGee Pilates Video: Pilates For Beginners

August 21, 2010

Hi there, it’s Caroline again. I’m almost ready to start my Pilates for Beginners class in a couple of weeks. I have some great pilates leggings from Beyond Yoga which I promise to review soon, and I’m told my Gaiam Yoga Mat has been dispatched, it should be here any day now!

It occurred to me that as I’m only going to do the Pilates for Beginners class once a week, I ought to buy a pilates video to use at home between classes as IPilates194 196x300 Kristin McGee Pilates Video: Pilates For Beginners don’t really have the discipline to practise the exercises from my class without some instruction. I’ve decided to buy the Kristin McGee pilates video entitled Pilates For Beginners.

I’m told it’s a great pilates video for beginners as Kristin gives easy to understand step by step instructions, and demonstrates beginner or modified versions of regular pilates exercises. The length of the routines sounds good too; there are two 10 minute and two 20 minute routines so I should be able to pull one in most days.

I’m always dubious about home workout videos as the presenters or instructors can be a little annoying but the only complaint I’ve heard about Kristin McGee is that she smiles too much. Sounds ok to me! One of the reviews said she wasn’t too perky which was a relief.

There’s a clip from this pilates video on Amazon, you can take a look at it here. I’ll let you know how I get on with it when it arrives.
